Man’s Best Friend Pet Resort is pleased to announce that we have entered into an agreement with Daiger Dog Training, LLC to provide dog training at our facilities. Since our last trainer retired in June of 2010, Judy and I have been desperately seeking a trainer(s) to be associated with MBF Pet Resort that adheres to our core philosophy that you train pets with love, rewards for good behavior and consistency. In other words, you don’t need to shock, scare or intimidate your dog to behave.

Daiger Dog Training feels the same way. Their philosophy is simple and based on dog friendly, positive reward training. Skip Daiger says, “We believe in building trusting and respectful relationships between you and your dog and treating dogs as companions and family members as opposed to a lesser species requiring physical dominance. We believe that training should be fun for both you and your dog, and hope that in any class people will enjoy themselves as well as have a positive learning experience. We welcome all family members and others who interact with the dog to participate in the training. We use proven techniques advocated by the Association of Pet Dog Trainers and guarantee courtesy to both human and canine clients. Our training mission is to provide the highest quality training and education to enhance and build the human/canine bond.”
