Man's Best Friend Pet Resort Rules
- All dogs are required to have current vaccinations in order to be boarded. This includes the Distemper/Parvo combination vaccine, the Rabies vaccine, and the Bordetella vaccine. Cats are required to have current distemper and rabies vaccinations. There will be no exceptions!
- All food must be in sealed containers, such as Ziploc bags or Tupperware bowls. Resealable dog food bags are not considered sealed.
- Please provide us as much information about your pet as you possibly can at check in. The more information you can provide us, the better care we can provide for your pet.
- If someone else is going to pick up your pets, please let us know in advance.
- All checks must have Drivers License (state and number) of check writer on them. This can be written in, but we must have it in order to process your payment.
- Our boarding rates are per night. Checkout time is 12:00 pm (Noon). Every hour after that is an extra $2.00 charge until 7:00 p.m. If you pick up the following day, you will be charged for an additional night stay and the same rules will apply regarding checkout time. Late fee is per suite, not per dog.
- Owners are welcome to bring any toys or bedding, but Man’s Best Friend Pet Resort will not be liable for any damage that occurs to these items during your pets stay. This includes, but is not limited to: collars, leashes, dog beds, blankets, toys, and/or bowls.
- We would prefer you not leave your leash with us. We have plenty of leads and leashes at the resort. The same for food bowls. We are not responsible for lost leashes and/or belongings.
- We close the dogs into the inside portion of their run at night. We generally lock up by 10:00 pm, and open runs up after 7:15 am.
- No children under the age of 10 are allowed in any of the dog play areas. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
- Please keep hands and fingers away from dog suites and fences at all times. All of our guests are great dogs, but the scent of your most recent meal on your fingertips maybe too much for them to resist.
- Man’s Best Friend Pet Resort reserves the right to refuse to board any pet that is deemed too aggressive and therefore would be a risk to our other guests or employees. The decision on which dogs are deemed too aggressive is at the sole discretion of the owners.
- Dogs that bite may not get out for play.
